Kristy Urain was born in Panorama City, California on February 10th, 1977. She was raised in El Dorado County, California near the famous "Apple Hill" and "Rose Garden."Kristy was known for her competitiveness in Art, gymnastics, performance in choir, and her volunteer work with the elderly and the American Red Cross. Kristy graduated Ponderosa High School in 1995, Studio Art in 1995, Graphic Art & Design in 1995, and Digital Photoography in 2004-2009 at Truckee Meadows Community College. She has kept her love for the arts alive, and is pursuing her life long dream as a wedding and specialty photographer. Her specialties are weddings and working with children. She takes on many projects, yet plans only one wedding and two portrait sittings per week. So it is best to book your event or special request at least two months in advance. Wedding Packages
This will be one of the most important times in your life, and I would love to be a part of recording it for you. My prices range from $1500-$3500 for the packages. Now don't let that frighten you. I always offer custom packages to the Bride & Groom, so if you can tell me how many hours you would like coverage and what you are looking for. I would be glad to fit something to your budget.
$3500- Vacation Weddings within the United States. This includes all day full coverage (Ultimate Wedding Package) and all costs of travel are to be the responsibility of the client.
$2500-Ultimate Wedding Package: all day full coverage, before, during and after both the ceremony and the wedding. This is up to a maximum of twelve hours. I will produce up to 1200 or more images through out the day.
$1500- Love Lives: This package includes up to four hours of coverage. I will produce up to 600 images or more through out the day
All packages include one engagement session valued at $350.00 and up to a one hour session. This will include your choice of print in wallet size , with fifty copies to include in your wedding invitations or use as a party favor.
Customized packages are also available and I would be happy to schedule an appointment for you.
A retainer fee of $300 is required at the time of booking unless payment is in full. This is required to hold the date you request for your services. Ths is not a refundable fee, however it will be applied to the final value of your package. All fees are due in full before services are rendered. Payment plans are available free of finance charges.

Modeling Sessions... Indoor $300
Outdoor $250
All modeling sessions require a minimum of two hours, and a maximum of three outfit changes. Hair and make up should be ready to go.
Commercial Projects
These projects are priced per job, length of time, and quoted upon request. Please contact K.Urain if interested in a quote.
(All sessions are price per hour and all prints sold separetly.)
Special Events & Holidays
All events are a minimum of four hours and a maximum of six.
These are custom packages and must be discussed between the client and K.Urain. Pricing is determined by the number of photographers needed, the population and hourly length of the event.
